Check out those beautiful striped Shiny Brites! I made quit the scene when I found them, The Little Dude seemed kind of embarrassed! Haha! The pretty little white ones with flowers are my first Czeslovakian find. They're really delicate feeling.
The Fire King deviled egg platter went right to the booth but I can't say the same about the cute little tin tray behind it. That might have stayed with me... same with the buttons...I have a problem. : ) The Fenton milk glass is missing some kind of top piece, but I think it's pretty anyway.
The Little Dude was not happy about my leaving this large Santa blow mold at the booth. I think they had become friends.
Ok, hoarder me is keeping everything in this picture for now...seriously, what is wrong with me?! The ornaments will go to a wreath that I'm making for a friend, so it's not all going to the hoard I guess. The little basket with the elf head was Made in Japan and it's a bit rough, but I think I can spruce him up.
And lastly, this little vinyl bundle of joy is a late 70's Kewpie doll, I think. He has the cutest little backside! Is that weird? Sorry if that's weird, but it's true. So cute!
I found some Pyrex too, but that went to the booth before I could even get a picture. Gotta keep things stocked and pretty for the holiday shoppers. My mall decided to start staying open until 9 on Saturdays for the season - that's just as good for me as it is for our customers. More time to floof!
The weather man said we're supposed to be getting some kind of super Arctic storm (bugs me to say that because it isn't an accurate term, but I'm a nerd and I digress...) so we're getting hunkered down for that. It's going to be cold enough to birth a Yeti, so I'm not really looking forward to it this time. It will give me time to work on Christmas gifts though.
How is your holiday gift shopping/crafting going? Are you done or have you not even started?
I'm joining the parties at Sir Thrift A Lot, Remnant, Mod Vintage Life, The Thrifty Groove, A Living Space, Ivy And Elephants, The Cottage Market, We Call It Junkin' and Apron Thrift Girl. Have a great week everyone!
Shopping...not done. Crafting...not started! Waiting for Hanna to get here in a couple of weeks then our plan is to have a crafting bonanza!
ReplyDeleteYou are definitely not a hoarder. I don't have a booth because I don't want to have to get rid of things! I may be the one with a real problem. That tray with the red deer on it is amazing! I have seen something like that before, maybe on a Christmas album?

ps...can't wait to see how you spruce up that little elf basket!
Love all the awesome ornaments you scored!
ReplyDeletei love that tin with the red deer on it! i don't feel bad about buying those, because they are great to store all the OTHER vintage christmas stuff i couldn't leave behind!
ReplyDeleteYou are definitely finding the good stuff this year. Can't resist buttons either! Fab shiny brites. My crafting is in process. Birth a Yeti...I can count on you to crack me up at least once in your posts. :) Poor little dude losing his Santa friend.
ReplyDeleteUm, how 'bout a jealous Judy! Ha-ha! Those ornaments are awesome! I really hoped to find more vintage Christmas for my future booth this year but I haven't! Either someone is beating me to it or people just aren't getting rid of it! But at least I finally found something for me- my Santa mugs and pitcher! I'm still high off of that!
ReplyDeleteIt's 2 degrees here this morning! It's times like this that I'm glad we're not on the farm anymore!
♥
There is NO WAY you're a hoarder! I don't even think that's possible when it comes to vintage Christmas... you can NEVER have too much vintage Christmas.
ReplyDeleteWeather folks are saying we're supposed to be getting snow/sleet/ice Thursday/Friday. I'm not looking forward to it... consider we have a high of 60 for today... which is super weird for this time of year!
I love all your Christmassy stuff! So funny that you embarrrassed your little dude LOL
ReplyDeleteI am behind on my blog reading - every day seems so busy and then I was away for a night... Love what you found, especially the little knee hugger basket- too cute!! I think I might have the same problem but mine is worse because I don't have a booth to take anything to!!! I've been decorating but it seems like I accumulated quite a bit in the past year, I can't see that I'll be able to put it all out!! Oh, no.... I hope to get my wreath done this weekend!

ReplyDeleteCold enough to birth a Yeti -hahahahaha that's a good one. My shopping is underway and decorating only half done. This blogging thing keeps me too busy on top of job & home & life, but I'll get it done! That tray looks really familiar, I think my mom had a cookie tin with that design, seriously! Love all your finds, I never see Shiny Brights :( Thanks for joining the "Olde" party - Dawn @ We Call It Junkin.com
