This pair of Charlie Brown Avon mugs is by far the best thing I found all week and they will be going in the booth as soon as possible, even though they are super cute and would look great in my house... Dangit! Why don't I have more space for stuff?!
I didn't even consider bringing this home. My first primary fridgie encounter in the thrifts and it is almost beaten beyond recognition. Lets all cry a little bit and move on.
This Flamingo Pink Round Casserole also had to stay at the store. This guys... this one almost killed me to leave. I have never run into it at the thrifts before, but it was in such bad shape. ~Still a little sad~ :'(
This little green pig planter totally cheered me up though. I took a little tip from Van at Thrift Core and bought it because it is weird and caught my eye quickly. Lets see if it does the same thing to someone else when it gets to the booth.
Should I sell the little Charlie Brown cups as a pair or individuals?
I'm going to head over to Sumo's Sweet Stuff for Market Yourself Monday and to Sir Thrift A Lot for Thriftasaurus Thrift Haul Link Up. Have a great week everyone!
the mugs really are fantastic! such bright lovely colours.
ReplyDeleteIsn't it horrible that we can't keep and buy every little thing that strikes our fancy? Well, we could I guess, but then we would be hoarders, and my husband would kill me for that! : )
DeleteThat little pig planter is great. I bet he'll find a new home from a happy shopper in your booth soon, because he's just bursting with personality. Hope the picking drought clears up soon (though these are great finds anyway)!
ReplyDeleteCute cups. I would sell them separately for sure. Also, I would have picked up that fridgie if the price was right - because the lid itself might be worth it. I more often than not find these pieces without their lids, so I have learned to pick up the lids whenever I can :-)
ReplyDeleteI actually didn't even think about that-face palm- but I know that the price for both was high at a ridiculous $8.99 and $14.99! That is way to much for a lid I think, but what do you think?
DeleteYeah, that was crazy expensive. I only pick up lids (and their sad bottoms) when they are $2.50 or less. However, I have had great success with my little orphan lid collection - it sure bumps up the price on my Pyrex when it is lidded :-)
DeleteOh man, that's how much of the Pyrex I have been seeing in my local Goodwill (which is usually my Pyrex hotspot) has been. I'm starting to think it's not hitting the floor anymore. There hasn't been a piece there in over 2 months. It used to be one of the only things I ever found there to buy & I go there 3-5 times a week!
ReplyDeleteIf a fridgie with a lid is cheap enough & the lid isn't chipped, I will buy it. Too hard to come across lids by themselves for fridgies. And replacement lids on eBay just ain't worth it, cheaper to buy stuff like this.
The tray underneath the Flamingo looks funky.
The tray was kind of cool, but it had a wicked scratch right through the middle of it that had started to rust. And they wanted $3.99 for it. They are loosing their freakin minds!!!
