A Painfully Late Happy Thanksgiving

Wow, I am a Tardy Tina on this, but better late than never!  Happy Late Thanksgiving, Black Friday (anyone score anything crazy good?) and Small Business Saturday.  We spent the day at The Grandmas house, stuffing our faces and looking through newspaper ads for crap we really didn't need.  It was awesome!  I love those guys!  This is what I brought to the feast:

Okay, so scratch that for a sec.  I tried to upload some pictures to blogger and I got this :

Whoops! You're out of space. You are currently using 100% of your 1 GB quota for photos. Upgrade storage
Photos are stored in your Picasa Web Albums account and are included in your 1 GB free quota for photos. Additional storage you purchase is shared between several Google products and is in addition to your free quota. Learn more
So....I don't really know what I'm supposed to do about that. I guess I never thought about running out of space on the WORLD WIDE WEB!!! Geez! How dare the rest of the planet want to store stuff too! ; )

I guess I need to upgrade, but I wanted to see if anyone had another way to do it.  Maybe my little space dude and his alien friend can help me...  (I had to have at least one photo!)

  1. photobucket is a good free photo site. you only run into trouble once you start getting TONS of views (i upgraded mine to paid when i was posting a lot in a live journal community where big photo posts got thousands of views). i'm pretty sure you can store as many photos as you want on photobucket!

    1. Thanks Rae! I looked at it, and if I wasn't so lazy, (o_0) and willing to re-size all my current blog photos, that would have worked.

  3. I had the same problem a few nights back, but I was reading a lot of info and you really DO NOT have to purchase any more storage! They said if you re size the photos you post it will not be added to your usage. So the largest dimensions you can use is 2048. That's what I did and it works fine! I did not purchase anything!

Too bad you already purchased it =/

    1. Yeah, I know now that I need to stop uploading the giant pictures. It's ok though because I have other google apps that the space can be put towards. Thanks for the tip, I didn't know the dimension.
