The Booth Is Ready for Business!

It's done, it's done, it's done!  The booth is set up and ready for business!

I consider this my first draft.

So...what do you think?  As you can so obviously see, I am not blessed with the arranging skill that so many of you guys have.  Thankfully, The Mom is great at it so she will be helping me with that in the coming days.  She is also going to do some fun doodles and stuff on the chalkboard wall.  And I understand if you laugh at me for the pseudo table cloth.  I was over estimating the amount of fabric I had, so then I had to rig something up with a cheap wallyworld cloth, the fabric and some duct tape.  I'm not terribly proud of it, but I did what I had to do!  One of my goals this week will be to find a better, no, an actual table cloth.

I'm so thankful to the antique mall for offering those extended hours yesterday!  I would have had a heck of a time getting this done without that.  And The Husband can't be thanked enough!  I would have been up poop creek with out his help.  We had to drop Little Dude off with Granny and Grandpa, then we had to go get my stuff from the case at the other mall, then we had to take everything to the new place and get it set up.  So it should have been pretty easy from there but on top of the table cloth debacle we had a sticker situation.   The price tags from the other mall were super stuck.  I mean I broke every nail trying to get tags off of my items!  We goo-goned like crazy, and it worked out.  It was just an unplanned step.

I love the way the sign came out!  And I will be working on some other things to hang so that people can see us around my neighbor.

We'll keep it this way for a bit, then change it up.  Like I said, this is the first draft.  And what I have learned from all of you is that if you love your booth, it will love you back.  We'll change things frequently to keep it fun and dynamic.

I'm going to head over to The Colorado Lady for Vintage Thingie Thursday.  Oh, and majority rules, the donkey stays!

  1. I am about to die! I want to visit your booth so bad, but I'm in East Tennessee. Where are you located? Also, can you send me a message to mamawsplace@gmail.com to let me know how much the pink cat is and what shipping would be on her?
