Normally I wouldn't have purchased these Woodland bowls because it isn't a pattern that appeals to me, but I have found that I sell a lot of the neutral colors in my booth. It is beginning to grow on me, that's for sure.
This is it from this store for now. It is strange, but I have gone in twice this week and gone out twice with nothing! I know, I was a little bummed by it too. I might have even shed a little tear, sniff sniff sniff. I'm not giving up though! I can't considering how cool the booth looks now.
The Mom wrote, "It's a Mod, Mod, World" and a little Christmas list on the chalk board wall and we did a little rearranging. I wish I would have remembered my real camera because this cell phone pic isn't doing it justice. Again, I'm working on the table cloth thing. : ) What do you guys think?
I'm going to keep it short and sweet because I want to have some time to go poke around on everyone's blogs!
Now for a "better late than never" link up at The Colorado Lady.
Great finds! I am on the fence about the Woodland bowls too. I normally just collect pink and turquoise but something about the simple and clean pattern of the Woodland appeals to me. I almost bought pieces twice this week! It was mainly a storage issue that stopped me.

Bah, the storage issue is such a pain! I would be a hoarder if I didn't keep such a close eye on it! The Woodland bowls would be so good for the fall... I haven't decided yet if I'm going to keep them or sell them...
DeleteYou were lucky finding these Pyrex dishes at a fair price. It is really getting popular again and rather costly.
ReplyDeleteYup, it is getting pricey, but sometime I get lucky!
DeleteComing over from Colorado Lady. I keep running across Pyrex at the thrift stores but it is always yucky looking. I think there's some rule about not putting it in the dishwasher or something like that? I sort of like the Woodlands pattern for Thanksgiving.
ReplyDeleteYeah, the rule is to never ever ever put it in the dishwasher! It ruins the finish on it and makes neurotic collectors like me cry a little... Thanks so much for coming by!
DeleteYour new booth looks amazing! So jealous, I wish I had that much space to work with! Excellent finds all around, as usual.
ReplyDeleteThanks Van! The space is great, I got really lucky with it. Now,I just have to make it work to my advantage a little more. And your blog has helped me out a lot! Thanks so much!
DeleteMe me me!!! I love Pyrex :) Spring Blossom is one of my favorite patterns! I swear by Bar Keeper's...for real! As soon as I see my bottle getting close to empty, I run out to get another bottle. It truly is "my" friend.
ReplyDeleteLove your blog! :)

Right?! Bar Keepers Friend is a magical concoction from the gods! I love it! Thanks so much for stopping by and for the kind words!
DeleteSeeing your booth reminded me of the table we had just like yours for awhile in our booth. The biggest drawback was the wasted space under the tablecloth. I liked the table space but eventually switched it out for more shelving. I still struggle with finding room for more items. I'm constantly bringing new and taking older stuff home. On another note, I use magic erasers for almost all stains.
ReplyDeleteYou are so right! Ugh, the wasted space! I am hoping to had some new shelving soon. And I have never used a magic eraser...I'll have to try that. Thanks for stopping by!!!
