Blue and Yellow Makes Green

It's finally Monday!  Sorry for for those of you who want Monday to just leave you the heck alone, but I'm excited because that means it's Blue Monday at Smiling Sally and I finally get to share my favorite find of the past few days, maybe even ever.
This is our new kitchen trash can:

Isn't it just the best?  I love it so much it's borderline madness.

Look at that!  It'f from Maine, the homeland of my Mom and Grandma.
My Maineiacs!

Little Dude was starting to get into our other one that we left on the floor and I don't have a home for it in my cabinets, so we are testing out a counter top approach.  I actually like it because it gets changed more frequently and therefore reeks less, and we just use plastic grocery bags.

I'm also going to link up with Mellow Yellow Monday today.  These are some of the buttons my Grandma recently gave me that were her mothers.
She has added to the collection through the years, so it is a really great mix of styles and colors.  My living room is grey, black and yellow so this little arrangement matches perfectly!

And because blue and yellow make green, here is a green frog that recently hopped home with me.  Hopped...get it?   Ha!

Wow, I didn't realize how dirty it is... gross.

Thanks again to Blue Monday at Smiling Sally  and Mellow Yellow Monday  for the link ups.  I look forward to these.
